Our journey began in Redondo Beach, California and our design studio is still here today. Because the ocean is so close to us, it keeps us connected to nature and reminds us to make a real impact on the environment through our products.

Let’s face it, the better a product performs the more we use it. Likewise, the more durable it is the longer we keep it. So we design and build bags that meet these needs.

We start with evaluating fabrics and parts because these are the fundamental pillars on which our products are built upon. We test them extensively and aim to exceed the industry standards, whatever the cost.

Testing beyond established limits

While it is impossible to simulate every real-world user scenario in the test labs, we have developed a suite of rigorous testing procedures. These are implemented from prototype stage through to the production process to guarantee that each item meets our quality benchmarks.

Since the beginning of this century global plastics production has doubled to over 460 million metric tons annually. One million plastic bottles are purchased every minute worldwide and up to five trillion plastic bags are used worldwide every year.

Half of al plastics produced are for single-use purposes

To promote sustainability and reduce environmental impact, we have switched to using recycled fabrics in our product line. By incorporating recycled materials, particularly plastics from post-consumer sources, we actively reduce plastic waste and demand for virgin fossil-fuel resources.

Recycled plastic waste is converted into nylon fibres

Transforming recycled fishing nets into fabrics removes the threat to marine life and repurposes it into a durable and sustainable material. Through the Seawastex program, we mitigate the need for virgin resources and embrace a circular economy by converting waste into valuable resources. This is our contribution to a cleaner and greener future for generations to come.
